Created with the desire to make a personal, informal, and cozy restaurant in the very heart of Aarhus.

At Opulent, we are not bound by dogmas, but instead we build bridges between tradition and innovation. We take pride in a very personal approach, and in the way we work with both ingredients and our menu – where a touch of our Southern Jutland roots can be tasted and felt throughout the restaurant. It was here that our passion for food first began to grow — in grandmother’s kitchen, with traditional Southern Jutland dishes and true craftsmanship.

That being said, we do not celebrate one thing more than another. Our ambition is that the many years of experience and active service at top restaurants across the world, combined with the finest ingredients, skilled craftsmanship, and a highly personal approach to both taste and presentation, can be felt, seen, and savored during a visit at Opulent.
